Loomagoo is a peer-to-peer social network for students.

How do I use Loomagoo?

Students can use Loomagoo for the following:

• Buy & Sell used textbooks
• Upload & Share notes and study guides
• Connect with Facebook friends
• Promote your friends listings on your newsfeed

How do I sell my books?

Book listings work like Craigslist. Users create classified ads for their used textbooks, set their own price, ad a description, and include contact information. Buyers contact the seller directly, set up a meeting place and time, and exchange!

How do I share my notes with classmates?

Users can upload notes using the same format as textbooks. Create a classified ad, upload notes/study guides you wish to share with your classmates as an attachment, write a brief description, and post!

Is Loomagoo free?

Yes. Our service is available to students free of charge.

Do I need to be a member?

Loomagoo.com requires anyone posting material to register for an account. Students searching the site for books and notes, however, need not register.

I don’t see my school/university listed. How do I get it on Loomagoo?

To add a school to the list, email school@loomagoo.com.

How can I trust note/study guide files?

These files are uploaded by students and moderated by the Loomagoo Team. We are constantly proofing everything that is posted to ensure that our users are receiving the highest quality material.

How can I make a suggestion to the Loomagoo Team?

Loomagoo is very accepting of comments and suggestions regarding site functionality, ease of use, design layout, and user experience. We welcome all comments and concerns. Feel free to email any suggestions to info@loomagoo.com.

We are always thinking about new tools and functionality that can benefit students. Loomagoo’s integration of Facebook Connect will allow our users to login with their Facebook Account, connect with their friends through “My Community,” and promote their favorite listings on their Faceboook Wall.
